Kody Hinkel is a printmaker from Jacksonville, FL. She is attending the University of North Florida, pursuing her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in Painting, Drawing, and Printmaking. Kody discovered her love for creating art by accident. After taking various multidisciplinary applied arts courses while in pursuit of a degree in Art History, she changed her major and has never looked back. Kody has experience with relief, intaglio, and monotype printmaking. Her work largely focuses on storytelling, whether inspired by her own life or from folklore and literature. Kody’s work has been exhibited at various Jacksonville venues, including the Ocean Club, Uncommon Grounds, the Seawalk Hotel, and the UNF Gallery of Art on the main campus. Her primary goal is to open a printmaking studio to create and collaborate with other artists.
